Here is a picture of my bundt pan centerpiece.
It looks so pretty sitting on my kitchen island.
Pretty gorgeous for just a quarter and some things I already had around the house.
Of course before I put together this beautiful centerpiece I had to use the pan for its intended purpose.
I baked a cake!
Pumpkin-Chocolate Chip ~ here is the recipe.
3 cups sugar
3 1/3 cups flour
2 cups canned pumpkin
4 eggs
1 cup canola oil
2/3 cup water
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Mix pumpkin, eggs, sugar, oil, and water together until well blended. Sift dry ingredients and mix with pumpkin mixture. Add pecans and chocolate chips. Bake in 2 greased and floured loaf pans or one bundt pan at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
GLAZE
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1 to 2 Tablespoons cream
Enjoy!
Thanks as always for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteWOW -- love both the cake (pumpkin and chocolate is such a great combination) and the centerpiece. I'm going to PIN it so I'll remember if I run across an orange bundt pan :)
