My friend Jen found a scrabble game for me at a garage sale for only 50 cents. Being in a Fall mood, I decided to see how many seasonal words I could spell.
And I didn't stop there ...
11 words in all and I still had some letters leftover.
(Oops, switch that o and u around in gourd.)
Then I needed to display some of my masterpieces.
What does it say about me if I have more fun decorating with the game than actually playing it?

It says you're my kind of peeps! I cannot believe how many words you got out of that one set of Scrabble! And I love the way you decorated with your words, it all looks great.

Recently I found a plastic bag of scrabble pieces for $25......no kidding. They weren't old and there weren't very many.. I didn't buy them. You did well with yours. I love your decorations as well.

gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteI just bought a scrabble board to have the same fun with. I found another one at a garage sale over the weekend and when I asked the seller how much he wanted he said $5.00. I told him I was not interested for that price. Especially since I paid $1.00 the previous week for the same board!

This is too cute! I love it! I soo wish I could do this in my house, but curious two-year-old hands would have them scattered on the floor in a second. Love, love, love.
ReplyDeleteYour friend Jen got a great deal on that Scrabble game. I love to collect them; using the tiles is so much fun. Now I have some new ideas on how to use them in my fall decorating! Thanks for sharing.
