Living Room Shelves

I have a love hate relationship with shelves.  They can look beautiful and they hold lots of pretties or books, but they are difficult at times to decorate.

These shelves beside my fireplace have always been the most difficult for me to accesorize. So I picked a theme (wine) and collected everything I had around the house that had to do with wine.

I had found this wine rack at Goodwill a few weeks earlier and added the numbers to it to dress it up.

And this is what I ended up with.

Thanks for stopping by and remember to decorate with items you love.

  1. I love how this looks! I have a hard to decorate set of shelves and I am thinking about painting them white so items on them pop! Love your wine theme!

  9. You did a great job on this shelf! I really think it helps to have a theme. I love numbers so adding them to the rack and the number 3 adds great interest. I always go for #7 or 5. Had 5 kids, add hubby and I and you get 7. Plus my birthday is in July, the 7th month. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
