My daughters informed me that I could not have a blog without including this recipe. These cookies are make around our house at least twice a month, sometimes more. I have always loved chocolate chip cookies and have tried many different recipes, but this is by far my favorite.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 Cup Butter
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup White Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 Eggs
1 Box Instant Vanilla Pudding
2 1/4 Cups Flour
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Soda
2 Cups Chocolate Chips (I only use 1 cup)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Blend in flour, soda, and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes in a preheated oven or until edges are golden brown.
NOTE: To make Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies substitute the vanilla pudding for chocolate pudding and 1/4 cup of the flour for cocoa.
ENJOY!!!
I was just sitting here painting and thinking that I'd like a chocolate chip cookie! Hmmm, this may push me over the edge. I've never used vanilla pudding. I'l have to try it. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
